The finish to another season of women’s basketball

On Feb. 26 the Saint Martin’s University Women Basketball team went against Northwest Nazarene. The game went into overtime making it a well-earned win for the Saints 69-67. The game was close and kept fans on the edges of their seats.

A few days later on Feb. 28, the Saints faced Central Washington in the Marcus Pavilion. Many showed up as the Saints celebrated senior players Jordyn Richardson, MacKenzie Taylor, Angela Gelhar, Liz Mills, Lauren Tigue, and Brooke Paulson before the game.

The Saints took the win with a finishing score of 49-46, taking them into the GNAC conference championships.

On Mar. 4, the Saints took on Simon Fraser in the first round of the GNAC conference championship. Unfortunately, the Saints lost 56-64 but the effort was never ending. The Saints finished the season at the GNAC conference championship making the journey to get there a great achievement.
