Hola! My name is Mirta Maravilla Rosas, I am a junior at Saint Martin’s. I am currently majoring in biology with a minor in environmental science. My hometown is Sumner, Wash., a little town that is about 45 minutes away. Aside from being the Spangler second floor RA, I am also President of Latino Student Alliance. I am looking forward to what this year brings and for new adventures!

Hi there, my name is Marcus Bufford, I am a third-year student at Saint Martin’s. I am majoring in business, with a focus in accounting and a minor in philosophy. This is my first year as an RA. Hannah Snow and I are working as the Burton RAs and can’t wait to see what this year brings! A fun fact about me is that I have acted in over twelve theater productions over my school career, two of which were here at Saint Martin’s. Thanks so much and go Saints!

Hola! My name is Astrid and I am the Baran second floor resident assistant. I am currently a senior studying business administration with a minor in social justice. I am from Los Angeles, Calif., but have definitely fallen in love with the PNW. In addition to being an RA, I am also the student coordinator for the Women of Color group and Catholic Relief Services. Hello and welcome home Saints! My name is Haylee Ball and I am a senior elementary education major. This is my third year as an RA, and I am in Spangler Hall this year. I am from the city of Auburn, Wash. about 45 minutes away. A fun fact about me is I have lived in every residence hall on campus during my time at SMU! Aloha and Mabuhay! My name is Hasley Suan Villadelgado. I am from the dazzling island of O’ahu in Hawai’i. I am currently a sophomore undergraduate student majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. I am the resident assistant for Parsons Second Floor Bridge. Other than being a RA, I am the programming seat of National Residence Halls Honorary, Treasurer of Pre-Health Club, Latino Student Alliance, and Sustainability Club. Additionally, I am filling in as a library assistant. I am beyond excited and exceptionally energized to continue my commitment on being a Saint.

I am a second-year RA this year and am currently one of the RAs in Burton Hall. In addition to being an RA, I am also the Secretary of NRHH and work for the Career Center. Aloha mai kakou! My name is Myki Dee Kim and I am a junior at SMU studying business administration with a concentration accounting and a minor in Japanese language. I hail from the beautiful state of Hawaiʻi on the island of O’ahu, but am happy to call Lacey, Wash. my second home. Along with being the President of Saint Martin’s Hui ʻo Hawaiʻi, I am also a second year resident assistant for the Parsons Hall first year freshman community! Hi, I am Sheridan Menard, and I am the resident assistant for Parsons second floor upper-class. I am from Boise, Idaho and am currently a junior. I came to Saint Martin’s as a biology major and since then I have also added a second major-educational studies. After I graduate from Saint Martin’s, I hope to get into a physician assistant program, and see where that leads me. Not only am I an RA this year, but I am also the President for the National Residence Halls Honorary, and a Benedictine Scholar. I am excited for the coming year and to continue being a Saint!

Hi my name is Tracey Porter I am a psychology major with a minor in sociology. I am the RA for the Norcia community floor! I have two siblings who attend Saint Martin’s, Tony Porter, a business major and an RA, and Nicole Porter who is a sophomore majoring in social work with a minor in psychology. I love to bake, watch, read comics, and talk with people. If you ever need someone to talk to, my door is always open!

Hi! My name is Cor Kruithof! I am a native of the small town of Troy, Ohio. However, my family moved to the Tacoma, Wash. area to be closer to relatives when I was quite young. Thus, I like to consider myself a native Washingtonian. I am also a former glassblower, who studied the skill for two years in high school. Now, I am a civil engineering major, and mathematics minor at SMU, along with being one of the Parsons Residence Hall RAs. I love to play board games, read, and all things Harry Potter. If you see me in the halls or in my room, please feel free to stop and chat!

Hi friends! My name is Abby Lowrie, and I am the second-floor RA on the first-year side. I am a senior communication studies major with a minor in gender and identity studies. I’m from the small town of Yelm, Wash., and look forward to a career in some sort of journalism or graphic design. I’m a lover of animals, sustainable living, and a mental health advocate. I can be found in my room or the Belltower office if you ever need someone to vent to. I look forward to the adventures we embark on as a community this year, and getting to know you. Hello Saints, my name is Keevan Forbes-Kashani and I am the third floor Baran RA. I am currently in my junior year of the civil engineering program. I was born and raised in the Olympia area, so I know my way around here. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to ride my motorcycle, so it’s only fitting to say that I will miss the summer. But with summer passing, I’m excited to further my education and spend the year with everyone on and off campus. I’m always up to meet new people, so if you see me around, don’t hesitate to say hi!
